Boys lets march to the office.
By: Donna Crumly
I have to confess to all those guys in Miss Cooks homeroom. We were in the home economics classroom for home room. Poor Miss Cook had a leg problem and walked with a very bad limp as if one leg were shorter than the other. Could have been hip as I am getting older now. Back to the story. She hated to hear a bobbie pin opened and placed between the wooden table and the metal leg of the table. She was such a grouch that I could not resist one day placing a bobbie pin on the boys side of the table where I was sitting and I sat facing the guys side of the room. At periodic intervals of my choosing I would slip off my shoe and stretch my leg across under the table and give that little bobbie pin a flip and it would properly make its annoying noise. She would look around and say to the guys. I will find out who is doing that. Of couse, it would stop for a little while and when her back was turned it would happen once again. Until she could take it no longer and she commanded all of the boys in the room to march to Alfords office. Of course, each of you were telling the truth that you were not doing it and as you know as adults there is body language which gives off negatives if someone is not telling the truth. I never heard of any repercusions but have always laughed and now I confess that I caused you all to get in trouble, well a little bit.br br Please forgive me for my mischief but you all know that I did have mischief as part of my personality. Still do!br br Hugs,br Donna
